2020-21 Preschool Registration NOW OPEN
Preschool registration for 2020-21 is now open!
The Sioux City Community School District has a limited number of preschool openings for 4-year old children for the 2020-2021 school year. These preschool programs will be taught by an SCCSD Early Childhood Special Education teacher and supported by two para-educators. This will offer the opportunity for children with and without disabilities to learn and play together in an integrated setting.
The Sioux City Preschool Initiative Provides:
- Certified teacher in every classroom
- Low student to teacher ratio of 1:10
- A set curriculum
- State verification that our program follows state standards
- Regular Assessment and conferences to monitor your child’s progress
Qualifying children must be Iowa residents and four years old by September 15 of that school year. Example: preschool students for the 2020-2021 school year must be four-years-old by September 15, 2020.
